Our comfortable and affordable Berkshire B&B has seven unique and charming rooms, all with private baths, air conditioning and WiFi access. The two first floor rooms have private entrances to the outside and are also pet-friendly. We’re just minutes away from many fine restaurants and shopping in Great Barrington.

Breakfast is served in our Berkshires B&B each morning from 8 am until 10 am in the sunlit dining room. This delicious start to the day includes juice, a fruit course and breakfast favorites such as French toast, frittatas, and Belgian waffles.

We brew coffee from beans roasted in the area. Fresh eggs, vegetables, and pure maple syrup come from local farms. We can accommodate special dietary needs.

Staveleigh House is convenient to all the wonderful activities and attractions that the Berkshires region has to offer. Sheffield, MA is known for its many antique shops, as well as the oldest covered bridge in Massachusetts. Just six miles up the road is Great Barrington, a favorite spot for shopping and dining. Local restaurants offer farm-to-table menus in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Hiking trails, including the Appalachian Trail, abound in the area and the many lakes and rivers offer opportunities for swimming, boating, and fishing. Not far south of the Staveleigh House is Lime Rock Park, one of the most significantly historic road racing circuits in North America. There are also many historic sites and museums to visit, and a multitude of theater productions to enjoy. Summertime brings the Boston Symphony Orchestra to Tanglewood and Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival to Becket. Performances at these world-renowned cultural venues are not to be missed. The incredible Berkshires fall foliage and wintertime cross-country skiing also provide great reasons to visit our Southern Berkshires bed and breakfast.
